These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Coins4U website, auctions, seller dashboards, payment tools and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account, bidding, or otherwise interacting with the Services you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility and account security

You must be at least 13 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to register. You agree to provide accurate information during registration, including your legal name, billing and shipping address, contact email and a unique username. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity that occurs under your account, including any bids.

We may refuse, suspend or close accounts that provide false information, enable fraud, abuse bidding tools, or otherwise violate these Terms.

2. Marketplace participation

Buyers and sellers connect through timed listings. Bids are binding commitments to purchase if you are declared the winner. By placing a bid you authorise us to charge the payment method held on file for the final hammer price plus any applicable premiums, shipping or taxes noted in the listing.

3. Fees, invoices and payments

We partner with Stripe to process buyer payments, invoices, seller disbursements and security deposits. By using the Services you agree to Stripe's terms and authorise us to create and manage a Stripe customer profile on your behalf using the details you provide. Fees for winning bids, seller commissions, listing adjustments and withdrawals are calculated automatically according to the settings displayed in your account.

Orders must be paid within the timeframe stated on the invoice. Failure to pay may result in cancellation of the order, suspension of bidding privileges, forfeiture of deposits and liability for any losses incurred by the seller or by us in re-listing the item. If you discard your invoice by mistake, you can request for it to be resent by emailing contactcoins4u@gmail.com

4. Watchlists, notifications and live data

We provide bidding updates, seller alerts and other real-time tools to help you track lots of interest. These features are intended for personal use within the Services. You may not harvest live data, automate bidding without permission, interfere with other bidders or attempt to gain unauthorised access to streaming infrastructure.

We strive to keep live information accurate but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free feeds. In the event of a system outage we may extend or restart an auction at our discretion to protect the integrity of the sale.

5. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit inaccurate registration or shipping details, create multiple accounts to manipulate bidding or mask your identity, or impersonate another person.

• Upload or transmit harmful code, attempt to bypass security controls, scrape private data, or interfere with the performance of the Services.

• Collude with other bidders or sellers to inflate prices, suppress fair competition or misrepresent the condition or provenance of goods.

• Use marketplace messaging, listings or live streams to distribute unlawful, defamatory, abusive or infringing content.

Breaches may result in suspension, termination, legal action and the forfeiture of funds held for disputed transactions.

6. Intellectual property

The Services, including our logo, styles, software, auction tools and curated listing content, are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or reverse engineer any part of the Services without our prior written consent. You retain ownership of photographs or descriptions you upload, but you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display, reproduce and promote that content in connection with the marketplace.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we moderate listings and support dispute resolution, we do not take possession of goods and cannot guarantee their quality, authenticity or fitness for purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties and limit our liability to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence or injury caused by our willful misconduct.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Coins4U, its directors, employees and partners from any losses, liabilities, claims or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services or your violation of another party's rights.

9. Changes to the Services or these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect new marketplace features, legal requirements or operational needs. When material changes occur we will post the updated version with a new date and, where reasonable, notify active users by email or in-app alerts. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
