Auction process
Getting Ready To Bid
To view the current live bids, visit the auctions page. Then scroll down toward the bottom or click 'Join the auctions' so you view the page 'Auction Collection'.
To start bidding, you will need to create an account or login. This can be done by clicking 'Log In' at the top and then fill out the details if you are creating an account for the first time or click Log In at the bottom if you already have an account.
Once successfully logged in, you can now start bidding!
How To Bid
All the current available items show a picture, name, highest current bid, ending date and if that item has sold yet.
Click on 'View Auction' to open an item.
You will now have the option to place your bid like this:
To get involved, place a bid on or higher the minimum bid showed in the white box where you enter your bid.
End Of Auction
The item auction will end on the date and time stated on the item. We would recommend not bidding too close to the ending time as the page might not update to show that you have been outbid.
Winning An Auction
If you have won an auction, you will receive an automated email just telling informing you have won the item. At this stage, no payment is asked as the auction needs to be fully verified.
You will receive another email within 24hrs to pay for the item - from Stripe. Please make sure that before paying, you check that your details are correct like your address. If your address is wrong, please update it in your account information. This can be done by clicking your name at the top, My Account, scroll down to Address. Then update it here.
You will then NEED to send us an email at contactcoins4u@gmail.com to resend the invoice as it does not automatically resend when you change your address.
It is much easier to remember to change your address before you take part in an auction
(Please note that each auction item will have its individual payment, so if you have won multiple items, you will receive separate invoices.)
Shipping
We aim to get all orders shipped out as soon as possible, but they will not be dispatched until the payment has been successful.
You will receive an email once your item is on its way!
Receiving an Item
We are glad to know that your item has arrived. If you have enjoyed your experience at Coins4U, we are always very grateful if you would leave us a review on Trustpilot. This can be done by visiting the email you received stating that your item was dispatched and at the bottom of that email is the link to do so.
